The present invention relates to an absorbent article (1) comprising a main body (2) having a liquid-permeable topsheet (3), a liquid-impermeable backsheet (4) and an absorbent core (5) sandwiched between said topsheet (3) and said backsheet (4), said main body (2) being arranged along a longitudinal axis (Y1) and a transversal axis (X1) extending in a perpendicular direction in relation to the longitudinal axis (Y1), said main body (2) defining a front portion (6), a back portion (7) and a crotch portion (8).
