Summary: | The invention discloses a method for determining whether a fuel assembly of a nuclear power plant is damaged. The method includes the following steps: S1, heating a normal fuel assembly, and recordingan activity change value X0 of Xe-133 before and after heating of the normal fuel assembly; S2, heating a suspicious fuel assembly, recording the activity change value X0 of Xe-133 before and after heating of the suspicious fuel assembly, determining that the suspicious fuel assembly is a normal assembly under the condition of N1/N0 < 2, and determining the suspicious fuel assembly as a suspicious fuel assembly under the condition of N1/N0 >= 2, and introducing the suspicious fuel assembly into the step S3; and S3, performing radioactivity tests on a Cs-containing water sample in the water loop of the suspicious fuel assembly in the step S2, and performing radioactivity tests on Cs-containing water sample in the water loop of fuel assemblies which are not heated in the step S1.
