The invention provides a touch sensing method which is suitable for an electronic device comprising a touch unit. The touch sensing method comprises the following steps: sensing a touch event by usinga touch unit; detecting a current operation mode; when the current operation mode is a touch identification mode, triggering a corresponding touch operation according to the touch event; when the current operation mode is a key identification mode, judging whether the touch event is touch gesture input or key gesture input; triggering a corresponding key operation according to the key gesture input when the touch event is the key gesture input; and triggering a corresponding touch operation according to the touch gesture input when the touch event is the touch gesture input. 本发明提供一种触控感测方法，其适用于包含触控单元的电子装置。触控感测方法包含：利用触控单元感测触控事件；侦测目前操作模式；当目前操作模式为触控辨识模式时根据触控事件触发相应的触控操作；当目前操作模式为按键辨识模式时判断触控事件是触控手势输入或按键手势输入；于触控事件为按键手势输入时根据按键手势输入触发相应的按键操作；及于触控事件为触控手势输入时根据触控手势输入触发相应的触控操作。
