The invention provides a data transmission method and device based on an OTG port, and the method comprises the steps that a lower computer operates a downloaded target system; the lower computer usesa built-in OGT port as a USB to serial port to communicate with the upper computer; and the lower computer operates the target system to complete the test, and after the test is completed, test result data is uploaded to the upper computer through the USB to serial port. By means of the mode, the lower computer can complete communication with the upper computer and test the target module throughthe OTG port, and the purpose of simply and efficiently completing testing is achieved. 本发明提供了一种基于OTG口的数据传输方法和装置，其中，该方法包括：下位机运行下载的目标系统；所述下位机将内置的OGT口作为USB转串口与上位机进行通信；所述下位机运行所述目标系统以完成测试，在测试完成之后，将测试结果数据通所述USB转串口上传至所述上位机。通过上述方式，使得下位机通过OTG口就可以完成与上位机的通信，以及对目标模块的测试，达到了简单高效完成测试的目的。
