The invention discloses a bidirectional moving hopper. The hopper comprises a hopper body and a portal. A winch is mounted on the portal and drives the hopper body to move along the portal. The movingdirections are perpendicular to the conveying direction of belt conveyors, and the different belt conveyors are unloaded. In addition, the portal is connected with ship unloading equipment through aconnecting rod and moves along wharf tracks along with the ship unloading equipment. The moving direction of the portal is parallel to the conveying direction of the belt conveyors, and the portal canbe disengaged from the unloading equipment.
