Summary:The invention provides a dual-bearing reel which makes it possible to assemble and disassemble a spool support and a cover and to conceal a fastening element for attaching the cover so that the fastening element cannot be removed in an operating position. The dual-bearing reel includes a spool support (15) detachably coupled on an opening (22) side of a reel body (11) and rotatably supports a spool shaft. A cover (18) is supported by the spool support (15) to advance and retract between a proximate position for approaching and covering the spool support (15) and a separated position that is separated in an axial direction of the reel. A lock (38) engages the cover (18) in the proximate position. First and second connecting parts (41, 42) support the cover (18) on the spool support (15) tobe pivotable in a first direction, from a covering position in which the cover covers the spool support (15) to an operating position in which the spool support can be attached and detached, and in anopposite second direction
