The invention provides a collecting pipe. The collecting pipe is annular, wherein the surface of the collecting pipe protrudes outwards to form pipe joints, and holes are formed in the ends of the pipe joints. The invention further provides a machining method of the collecting pipe. The machining method comprises the following steps: S1, forming a plurality of subsidiary collecting pipes; S2, forming the pipe joints on a part of the subsidiary collecting pipes in a machining manner; S3, welding the multiple subsidiary collecting pipes to be connected into an annular collecting pipe; and S4, detecting the sealing performance of welding seams of the welded annular collecting pipe.
