Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of leather identification, and discloses an immunoblotting-based method for identifying leather. The method comprises the steps of extracting proteins in the leather by using an alkaline method; then screening the proteins through a deer protein standard sequence to obtain characteristic peptide fragments; then obtaining a protein sequence antibody through immune response; analyzing the protein sequence antibody by using a western blot technology to investigate whether the sample leather is deerskin or not. The method is environment-friendly and pollution-free.
