The invention provides a bucket type inlet for a turbine machine. The turbine machine includes a core engine housing that extends a length of the turbine machine relative to a centerline. Further, thecore engine housing at least partially defines a bypass flow passage. The bucket type inlet includes an inlet body, in fluid communication with the bypass flow passage, at the core engine housing. The inlet body includes a mouth part fluidly coupling the bypass flow passage to a cooling system. The mouth part receives bypass discharge air from the bypass flow passage and defines a width in a circumferential direction relative to the centerline. The bucket type inlet further includes a bypass discharge conduit which penetrates through the core engine housing to be defined. The bypass dischargeconduit fluidly couples the mouth part to the cooling system.
