Summary: | As an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition which is decreased in the viscosity with time during melt molding and has excellent long-run mold-ability, the present invention provides an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer composition for melt molding, which contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), an alkali metal compound (B) and an iron compound (C), and which is configured suchthat the weight ratio of the content of the iron compound (C) in terms of metal to the content of the alkali metal compound (B) in terms of metal is from 10 to 100,000.
