The method comprises the steps that a first light signal emitted by a first light-emitting device in the external diagnosis terminal is received, and the first light signal is used for indicating fault diagnosis of vehicle starting; and a second light-emitting device in the vehicle is controlled to emit a second light signal, so that the external diagnosis terminal receives the second light signal and decodes the second light signal to obtain fault information of the vehicle forfault diagnosis.
