The embodiment of the invention provides an upgrading method and device of Internet of Things terminal. An Internet of Things communication module and a memory which are mutually independent are configured in an Internet of Things terminal, and the method comprises the following steps: the Internet of Things communication module detects upgrading information; the Internet of Things communication module downloads an upgrade package corresponding to the upgrade information, and stores the upgrade package in the memory; the Internet of Things communication module confirms the downloading progressof the upgrade package stored in the memory; if the downloading progress is that downloading is completed, the Internet of Things communication module acquires the upgrade package from the memory; and the Internet of Things communication module executes an upgrading operation according to the upgrading package. In an intelligent refrigerator, an intelligent air conditioner and other internet-of-things terminals, a memori
