The invention provides a comb type polycarboxylate dispersing agent containing a polyether side chain and a preparation method of the comb type polycarboxylate dispersing agent. The dispersing agent is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 4-50 parts of allyl polyoxyethylene ether, 1-10 parts of an acrylic acid homologue and 1-10 parts of acrylate.
