The invention provides modified graphene catalytic slurry and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: mixing a solvent, a dispersing agent, a binder, an additive and modified graphene, and uniformly stirring to obtain the catalytic slurry, wherein the solvent comprises at least one of water, dimethylformamide, N-methylpyrrolidone and dimethylacetamide; the dispersing agent comprises at least one of PVP, sodium dodecyl sulfonate and polyvinyl alcohol; the binder comprises at least one of CMC, HPMC, PTFE, PVDF, PVA and SBR; the additive comprises an active adsorbed carbon material with a high specific surface area; and the modified graphene contains a large number of defects. The catalytic slurry comprises the slurry prepared with the above method, and the viscosity of the slurry is 3500-6500 mPa*s.
