Summary: | The invention discloses laser direct structuring resin and a preparation method thereof. The laser direct structuring resin is prepared from 40-70 parts of PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) resin, 5 parts of LDS (laser direct structuring) additives, 20-30 parts of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) resin, 5-15 parts of aluminum titanate, 5-10 parts of toughening agents and 0.4 part of antioxidant. The preparation method includes high-speed mixing, mixing and extruding. An alloy of the PBT/ABS materials is adopted to prepare a matrix resin, and the compound toughening agents are added to thematrix resin to obtain a material high in impact resistance; by means of adding aluminum titanate ceramic powder which has synergy with the ABS material, warping caused after injection of the resin material can be improved effectively, and the resin material is enabled to be better in thermal stability effect and can be prevented from size deformation caused by thermal diffusion during use.
