Summary: | The invention discloses a cast steel material for a slipping shoe, and a casting method. The cast steel material comprises the following components by weight: 0.35%-0.45% of C, 0.45%-0.7% of Mn, 0.25%-0.6% of Si, no more than 0.03% of P, no more than 0.03% of S, 0.9%-1.4% of Cr, 0.25%-0.35% of Mo, 1.3%-1.8% of Ni, no more than 0.04% of Al, no more than 0.25% of Cu, no more than 0.1% of V and the balance Fe; and the carbon equivalent is CE, and CE=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15 <= 0.91%.
