The invention provides a gas detection system and a calibration device thereof. The gas detection system includes a detection pipeline and a multi-gas measuring instrument. The detection pipeline is used for introducing gas. The multi-gas measuring instrument is used for detecting concentration of gas in the detection pipeline. The gas detection system also includes a controller, a to-be-detected gas pipeline and a standard gas pipeline. The to-be-detected gas pipeline and the standard gas pipeline are connected to the detection pipeline. The controller is connected to the multi-gas measuring instrument in a communicating manner. The to-be-detected gas pipeline is used for transmitting the to-be-detected gas to the detection pipeline. The standard gas pipeline is used for transmitting standard gas to the detection pipeline.
