The method comprises the steps that a FeCl3 solution, a lauryl sodium sulfate (SDS) solution, nanometer ZnO particles and a NaOH solution are mixed according to a certain proportion and placed into a hydrothermal reaction kettle for a reaction, and after the reaction, precipitates in the kettle are filtered, washed and dried to obtain a final product. The method has the advantages that raw materials are cheap and easy to obtain, the technological process is simple, the product has the good S2- adsorption performance, when the concentration of S2- in water is 5-200 mg/L, the addition amount of the product is 1 g/L, the S2_ removal rate can reach up to 80-99%, and the method can be widely applied to the field of industrial wastewater treatment.
