The doubly salient motor comprises a primary part and a secondary part of salient structures respectively, wherein the primary part comprises primary iron cores, primary windings and excitation devices, each primary iron core comprises primary iron core teeth and primary iron core yokes, each primary iron core is of a U-shaped structure or an E-shaped structure, the primary windings are arranged in primary iron core grooves formed among the primary iron core teeth, the primary windings adopt centralized armature windings, and the excitation devices are excitation windings or magnetic poles; the secondary part comprises secondary iron cores and secondary windings, each secondary iron core comprises secondary iron core teeth and secondary ironcore yokes, the secondary windings are arranged in secondary iron core grooves formed among the secondary iron core teeth, and the secondary windings adopt centralized armature windings.
