The invention relates to the technical field of mechanical engineering, in particular to a flow visualization device for a ship model towing pool. The flow visualization device comprises a platinum wire, a copper plate, a hollow bracket, a slide rail, a pulse power supply and an underwater high speed camera. The platinum wire and the copper plate are horizontally mounted at both sides of the hollow bracket to form a multi-layer distribution mode. The slide rail includes a slide bar and a guide rail; a positioning hole and a fixing hole are formed in the guide rail; the guide rail is fixed on asupport frame of a trailer; the lower end of the slide bar is fixedly connected with the hollow bracket; and the hollow bracket is made of a high-strength material. Two wire outlet holes are formed in the top of the slide bar; and the two ends of the wires are connected with a cathode and anode, and the pulse power supply. The processing and manufacturing processes are simple; the cost is low; the operation is simple; an
