Summary: | The invention relates to the field of aerobic deep treatment of waste water in livestock and poultry farms, and specifically discloses Arthrobacter Keyseri capable of efficiently removing ammonia nitrogen from animal waste water and application thereof. Applicants screen a heterotrophic nitrification-aerobic denitrifying bacterium, Arthrobacter Keyseri, from activated sludge. The strain survives at a high ammonia nitrogen concentration (2000 mg/L) and has a certain nitrogen removal capacity. When added to waste water of a pig farm, the strain can greatly reduce the ammonia nitrogen value in the waste water, and the indicators of COD, TP, TN and TSS are all decreased. The strain can be used for preparing a commercial waste water treatment microbial agent, and is used as an externally addedstrain of an aerobic treatment process of waste water of livestock and poultry farms, thereby reducing the waste water treatment cost and achieving the purpose of harmless treatment of waste water.
