The invention discloses a household film rolling machine and a work method thereof. The household film rolling machine comprises a rack, a water gathering pipe supporting device and a moving driving device and further comprises a feeding device, a gluing device, a film feeding device, an adhesive tape supply device and a discharging device which are arranged on the rack. The water gathering pipe supporting device comprises a water gathering pipe clamping device used for clamping a water gathering pipe in the axial direction of the water gathering pipe and a water gathering pipe rotation driving device connected with at least one part of the water gathering pipe clamping device and used for driving the water gathering pipe to rotate. The moving driving device is arranged between the rack and the water gathering pipe supporting device so that the moving driving device can be used for driving the water gathering pipe supporting device to sequentially move to the feeding device, the film feeding device, the adhes
