The invention provides a shear test device for a pre-buried channel on a shield segment and a detection method thereof. The device comprises a first board body, a second board body, a third board bodyand a shear force detection device; a first mounting hole is formed on the first board body; the first board body is perpendicular to the pre-buried channel; the second board body is erected on the first board body and extends along the first board body; a first shear reserved hole is formed on the second board body; the first shear reserved hole is used for the shear force detection device to pass through so as to detect a longitudinal shear force of a to-be-detected bolt; the third board body is erected at one end of the second board body; the third board body is perpendicular to the secondboard body; a second shear reserved hole is formed on the third board body; and the second shear reserved hole is used for the shear force detection device to pass through so as to detect a transverse shear force of the to-be
