Summary: | The invention relates to a nasal cannula (1) for high-flow ventilation, wherein the nasal cannula (1) has a base body (2) with a cavity (20), a hose attachment element (6) for connecting a hose (7) tothe cavity (20) for fluidic communication, and a first and a second nose tube (3, 4) pointing away from the base body and serving to connect a respective nostril to the cavity (20) for fluidic communication, wherein the first nose tube (3) has a different flow resistance than the second nose tube (4). The invention makes available a nasal cannula (1) which is easy to produce and to clean and which avoids eddies of the respiratory gas stream in the base body (2) or avoids blockages.
