The invention relates to a connecting structure of a prefabricated pier column and a pile foundation and a construction method. The connecting structure comprises the pier column, a bearing platform and the pile foundation which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom. The pier column is a solid column and internally of a first reinforcing steel bar structure. The pier column comprises a first column section and a second column section, the diameter of the first column section is larger than that of the second column section, the second column section is buried in the bearing platform, the reinforcing steel bar structure of the portion, with the diameter larger than the outer diameter of the second column section, of the first column section extends out of the first column section andis buried in the bearing platform, and the end of a second reinforcing steel bar structure in the pile foundation extends out of the pile foundation and is buried in the bearing platform.
