The equipment is composed of a raw material crystallization treatment system, a chlorine dioxide production system and a sodium chlorite production system, and the production method comprises the operation steps of (1) sending sulfuric acid and sodiumchlorate into an evaporation crystallizer, heating the evaporation crystallizer to precipitate sodium sulfate crystals, filtering the sodium sulfate crystals through a filtering device, and drying filter cake to produce anhydrous sodium sulphate; (2) making generated water vapor enter a condensate water tank for storage after the water vapor is condensed through a condenser; (3) sending clear liquid of the evaporation crystallizer into a generator to produce chlorine dioxide, and then sending the chlorine dioxide into an absorption tower; and (4) absorbing the chlorine dioxide gas by hydrogenperoxide and alkali liquid
