A smart multifunctional cooking apparatus is provided for cooking a ready-to-eat food packet having a food packaging barcode, and includes a cooking device and a scanner. The cooking device includes acooking chamber for receiving a plurality of food materials of the ready-to-eat food packet, a cooking unit for cooking the food materials, and a control module. The scanner is operated to scan the food packaging barcode so as to obtain the cooking information and transmit the cooking information to the control module. The control module controls the cooking unit to cook the food materials according to the cooking data provided by the cooking information.
