Summary:The invention provides a method and device for representation of space regions, and a storage medium. The invention also relates to a device for encapsulating partitioned timed media data to be streamed to a client device in a server. The partitioned timed media comprises timed samples, each sample comprising a plurality of subsamples. After grouping several subsamples to form a group, at least two subsamples of the same group are selected and at least one track comprising the selected subsamples is created. For the created track(s), a sub-track box can be created for each of the selected subsamples, at least one of the boxes comprising definitions and properties that are common to the selected sub-samples.
