Summary: | The invention discloses a method for identifying high and low cis-polyisoprene rubber. According to the invention, the method comprises the steps: measuring the content ranges of different dimers through using a pyrolysis gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer, and determining that polyisoprene rubber belongs to high cis-polyisoprene rubber or low cis-polyisoprene rubber. A polyisoprene rubber sampleis cracked by a high-temperature cracker to generate a plurality of split products, and the split products are separated by a chromatographic column and detected by a mass spectrometer. The components of each substance can be determined clearly, and the contents of different dimers are determined according to the ratio of peak areas, wherein the substance with the contents of different dimers within the range of 7.0-8.0% is low cis-polyisoprene rubber and the substance with the contents of different dimers within the range of 4.0-5.0% is high cis-polyisoprene rubber.
