Summary: | The invention relates to a method and apparatus for fault detection of a power device. The method comprises steps: a first temperature rise of each of a group of same-attribute contact points on threephases of a power device is acquired, wherein each group of same-attribute contact points is three contact points corresponding to the same position in the power device; a target temperature rise isdetermined from each first temperature rise; the target temperature rise is corrected to acquire a corrected second temperature rise; and according to the second temperature rise, whether a fault happens to the same-attribute contact points is determined. Thus, which phase of the contact point has a fault is determined through horizontal comparison of the temperature rise of each phase of one group of same-attribute contact points, the to-be-corrected temperature rise is corrected before comparison to enable the judgment result to be more accurate, the comparison is quicker and more convenient, and the accuracy is good |
