Summary:The invention relates to a production process of high intrinsic viscosity polyphenyl ether. Specifically, at least three continuous stirring reactors in series connection are employed for three-stagepolymerization reaction on substituted phenol and oxygen-containing gas in an organic solvent in the presence of a metal complex catalyst, and phase separation equipment for liquid-liquid separation is arranged between at least two continuous stirring reactors, thus obtaining the high intrinsic viscosity polymer. The production process provided by the invention can effectively reduce the dosage ofthe metal complex catalyst. 本发明涉及一种高特性粘度聚苯醚的生产工艺。具体来说,取代苯酚于有机溶剂中和含氧气体在金属络合物催化剂存在下用至少3个前后连接的连续搅拌反应器进行3阶段聚合反应,并且在至少2个连续搅拌反应器中间设置液液分离的相分离设备,得到一种具有高特性粘度聚合物的聚合方法。本发明生产工艺可以有效降低金属络合物催化剂的用量。
