A bottle assembly comprises: a container having an open end, a closed end, a base and a neck, wherein the neck having a rim, and the rim defining an open end of the container; a vent assembly being positionable on the rim of the container venting of the container during use; and a collar assembly generally defining a closure for the container, the collar assembly being configured to releasably engage the neck of the container at the open end of the container, and the collar assembly comprising a nipple and a set of rings, wherein the nipple includes a flange, a nipple portion and one or more grooves disposed in a bottom surface of the flange. The collar assembly and the vent assembly are configured relative to one another to permit selective configuration between a first configuration anda second configuration.
