The invention relates to a plant composition for treating water and air burn. The composition comprises resina draconis, radix arnebiae seu lithospermi, radix et rhizoma rhei, radix cynanchi atrati and borneolum syntheticum, wherein the weight parts of the resina draconis, the radix arnebiae seu lithospermi, the radix et rhizoma rhei, the radix cynanchi atrati and the borneolum syntheticum are 0.5-50 parts. The composition further comprises 0.5-50 parts by weight of radix sanguisorbae and 0.5-50 parts by weight of radix scutellariae. The sum of the weight parts of the five medicines of the resina draconis, the radix arnebiae seu lithospermi, the radix et rhizoma rhei, the radix cynanchi atrati and the borneolum syntheticum is 3-10 times of that of the weight parts of the two medicines of the radix sanguisorbae and the radix scutellariae. The radix sanguisorbae is converted into rhizoma coptidis in extensive burns; and the parts by weight of the rhizoma coptidis is 0.5-50 parts. Traditional Chinese medicine pl
