The invention provides a coating formula for an embryo carpet and a precoating process thereof. The coating formula comprises, by weight, 90-110 parts of VAE rubber latex, 110-130 parts of a calcium carbonate filler, 1-3 parts of a sodium succinate sulfonate penetrant, 1-3 parts of a sodium polyacrylate thickener and 60-100 parts of water, wherein the percentage of vinylacetate and vinyl copolymerin the VAE rubber latex is 55%, and the percentage of water is 45%. By the arrangement, precoating treatment of the embryo carpet can effectively prevent fuzzing and greatly reduce the fuzzing of thesurface of spliced carpets produced. 本发明提供了一种胚毯涂胶配方和一种胚毯预涂工艺，其中，胚毯涂胶配方，包括以下重量份组分：VAE胶乳90～110份，碳酸钙填充料110～130份，琥珀酸酯磺酸钠渗透剂1～3份，聚丙烯酸钠增稠剂1～3份，水60～100份，其中，VAE胶乳中乙酸乙烯酯和乙烯的共聚物占比55％，水分占比45％。通过本发明的技术方案，进行坯毯预涂处理起到了有效地防止起毛的作用，大幅度减少了生产出的拼块地毯的毯面起毛问题。
