The invention discloses a chromium-containing wastewater disposal system and a method thereof. The chromium-containing wastewater disposal system comprises an adjusting tank, a biochemical aeration tank, a first sedimentation tank, a physicochemical reaction tank and a second sedimentation tank which are sequentially connected with one another. The system also comprises a leaching reaction tank, an advanced oxidation reaction kettle, a recycled chromium liquid storage tank and sludge dewatering equipment.
