With respect to a molded pulp container having inner and outer surfaces with synthetic resin layers formed thereon, the purpose of the present invention is to provide, by means of a simple method, such a molded pulp container such that the formation of blisters when heated by a microwave oven can be suppressed and a good appearance is maintained. A synthetic resin layer uncoated part (13a) is provided in a portion of the container body (11) of the molded pulp container (10).
