The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display (LCD) device comprises: a substrate on which an active area that transmits light therethrough is defined; and a pixel electrode disposed on the substrate, wherein the pixel electrode includes a first stem electrode, which extends along a first direction, a second stem electrode, which extends along a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction and intersects the first stem electrode to be divided into two halves by the first stem electrode, a third stem electrode, which extends alongthe second direction and is connected to the first stem electrode to be divided into two halves by an end of the first stem electrode, and a plurality of branch electrodes, which extend from at leastone of the first stem electrode, the second stem electrode and the third stem electrode. 本发明涉及一种液晶显示设备。该液晶显示(LCD)设备包括：基板，基板上限定透射光的有源区域；以及布置在基板上的像素电极；其中，像素电极包括第一主干电极、第二主干电极、第三主干电极和多个分支电极；第一主干电极沿着第一方向延伸；第二主干电极沿着垂直于第一方向的第二方向延伸并且与
