Summary: | The invention relates to a production method of a chlorine-free polyacrylamide wet strength agent and application thereof to papermaking. The process of the production method comprises three steps: 1,synthesizing a hydroxyacrylamide monomer from acrylamide and glyoxal; 2, hydrolyzing polysaccharide under the action of an enzyme, and then oxidizing to produce oxidized polysaccharide; 3, polymerizing the hydroxyacrylamide monomer and the oxidized polysaccharide to synthesize a final product, namely the polyacrylamide wet strength agent. The polyacrylamide wet strength agent produced according to the production method provided by the invention has the solid content of 15-25%, and the viscosity thereof is controlled at 30-35 mPa.s.
