The method comprises the following steps: enabling a sodium salvianolicacid A raw material to be dissolved in water, and adding sodium chloride and mixing, refrigerating and placing in 0-10 DEG C, after separating out the sodium salvianolic acid A, filtering, washing byusing cold water in 0-10 DEG C and precipitating, drying a precipitate, to obtain the sodium salvianolic acid A of which content of the isosalvianolic acid A1 and the isosalvianolic acid A2 is reduced.
