Summary: | The present invention relates to a sporosarcina psychrophila and an application thereof. The sporosarcina psychrophila KX-1 has a preservation number of CGMCC No. 16770, has a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO.1, and is used for degrading 3-chlorocarbazole. The most suitable degradation conditions for the strain of the present invention are as follows: 3-chlorocarbazole concentration is 50mg/L, the inoculum amount is 10%, the pH value is 6.0, the temperature is 30 DEG C, and an additional 1 g/L soluble starch solution is a supplementary carbon source. Under the condition, after 5 days, the degradation rate of the 3-chlorocarbazole by the sporosarcina psychrophila reaches 90.0%.
