The invention discloses a modified perlite gunning repairing material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, mixing waste brick granules, lignocelluloses and perlite, then sequentially adding hexamethylenetetramine, magnesium oxide and sodium tripolyphosphate, stirring uniformly, heating to 40-45 DEG C, and reacting for 20-40 minutes; adding sodium silicate and water, uniformly stirring to obtain the modified perlite gunning repairing material. Due to adoption of modified perlite, the pressure resistance and the fracture resistance canbe remarkably improved, and the pressure resistance under a high temperature condition is not greatly degraded.
