Summary: | The invention discloses a method for preparing transparent ceramic through vacuum hot pressing and sintering by using commercially available calcium fluoride powder as a raw material. The method comprises the following steps: 1) using the commercially available calcium fluoride powder as the raw material, adding a setting amount of sodium fluoride powder, uniformly mixing; 2) selecting a graphitemould, loading mixed powder in the mould, and enabling the mould to be separated from the powder by using graphite paper; 3) placing the loaded graphite mould in a vacuum hot pressing furnace for sintering; 4) after sintering, polishing ceramic, to obtain the calcium fluoride transparent ceramic.
