The invention discloses a method and system for extracting a nested seismic phase. The extraction method comprises the following steps: determining a target interval and a classification number basedon seismic data and well data; classifying the seismic waveforms to obtain a coarse seismic phase; matching the coarse seismic phase with a geological model, repeating the above steps if the coarse seismic phase is not matched with the geological model, determining the classification number if the coarse seismic phase is matched with the geological model, and continuing the following steps; performing sub-phase or micro-phase classification on the seismic sub-phases thereof according to the coarse seismic phase; and performing comprehensive geological analysis based on the results of sub-phaseor micro-phase classification.
