The invention provides a self-sustaining small-area lighting system in which electric energy is produced by gas from factory pressure tanks or water pressure of a municipal water supply system, storedand used for lighting small areas such as residential areas or factory areas. The unique fluid driving device structure greatly reduces the loss of pipeline pressure while generating electricity, attenuation of the pipeline pressure is minimized, normal use of subsequent various devices is not affected, water supply pressure cannot be reduced when the system is used in a water network, and normalwater supply and gas supply is not affected.
