The present invention is a fuel cell FC provided with: a cell-structured body 3 having a structure in which an electrolyte 5 is sandwiched between an anode electrode 7 and a cathode electrode 6; and apair of separators 4 for forming circulation regions G1, G2 for an anode gas and a cathode gas, respectively, between the separators and the cell-structured body 3. The fuel cell FC is provided, on the anode electrode 7 side of the cell-structured body 3, with a first sealing section S1 surrounding the circulation region G1 for the anode gas and a second sealing section S2 surrounding the outer periphery side of the first sealing section S1; a flow passageway F for an oxygen-containing gas is formed between the first sealing section S1 and the second sealing section S2; the leakage of the anode gas is suppressed by a dual sealing structure; and the anode gas passing through the first sealing section is detoxified before being discharged to the outside even if the first sealing section S1deteriorates. 作为如下的燃料电池(FC
