Summary: | The invention provides a new synthesis method for 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propanesulfonic acid. The synthesis method comprises the steps of adding acrylonitrile, dropwise adding sulfuric acid, introducing isobutene and performing thermostatic reaction. According to the invention, synthesis time is short; production time is reduced by 100-160 minutes; total synthesis time from the starting of addingto the ending of cooling is 140min; capacity of equipment is increased by 40%-50%; heat generated from a mixing process of sulfuric acid is fully utilized and heat consumption of hot water is reduced;side reaction is reduced and stability of product quality is promoted; the product prepared according to the invention has a small deviation range of liquid chromatogram purity index, a liquid chromatogram purity range of 95.53-96.54%, a small deviation range of melting point, a melting point range of 184.8-186.0 DEG C and chromaticity (platinum-cobalt number) less than or equal to 20.
