Summary:A method for installing a drawer element comprises the following steps: securing a first pull-out guide (1) on a first side wall and securing a second pull-out guide (1) on a second side wall, which is located opposite the first side wall; installing a device (2) for synchronizing the movements of the displaceable rails (8, 9) of the two pull-out guides (1), wherein a holder (3) with at least onedeflecting element is fitted or latched on each pull-out guide (1); positioning a cable pull (4) around a deflecting roller (11), which is provided on the pull-out guide (1); coupling at least one rail (7, 8, 9) of each pull-out guide (1) to the cable pull (4) via a connecting device (12); and adjusting the tensioning of the cable pull (4) via a device for adjusting the cable tensioning.
