The invention discloses a chitosan degradable biological seed coating agent and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the steps of adding 90-120 parts by weight of purified water and 2-4parts by weight of glacial acetic acid solution to a reaction tank, and specifically, the reaction tank is provided with a heating device and a stirring device; and after the heating device and the stirring device are started to heat the reaction tank to 40-60 DEG C, adding 2-5 parts by weight of chitosan in the reaction tank.
