Summary: | The invention relates to the technical field of chemical analysis and more specifically relates to a method for analyzing isosorbide in isosorbide mononitrate and a composition thereof. The inventionprovides a method for detecting isosorbide in isosorbide mononitrate and a composition thereof. The method comprises the steps: firstly, dissolving isosorbide mononitrate and the composition thereof by using a solvent; then, carrying out separation by using a liquid chromatography; and then, carrying out detection by using a differential refraction detector. The method disclosed by the invention has higher sensitivity than a TLC method and is capable of realizing accurate quantitation.
