Summary:The method for manufacturing a carbon nanostructure of one embodiment of the invention uses a base body having carburizable metal as the main component and a separable body having carburizable metal as the main component, the separable body being bonded to or in contact with the base body in a linear or belt shape, to produce a carbon nanostructure therebetween while relatively moving the separable body away from the base body.
